List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now, shaping your spring. Post these instructions in your LJ along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

1. Canned Heat - "Rollin' and Tumblin' [live at Monterey]
If you think they "look uncool" - that bass player played on several Tom Waits albums.
As for the audience, well... it was the sixties. People weren't sure how to dance yet.
2. Jobriath - "Rock of Ages" [some show hosted by Gladys Knight]
This pretty much blows my mind. Quien es mas macho?
3. Of Montreal - Bunny Ain't No Kind of Rider
I just looked this up for a link. I've been grooving on the studio version, but for reference here is the crustacean-arm version
4. The Who - Out in the Street
A "great" job of miming the song by the boys; I think someone replaced their "leapers" with "'ludes," but it's th best representation of
them doing the song that I'll find... and it's the studio version, which is the one I'm digging.
5. Scout Niblett - Nevada [Black Cab Sessions]
Unlike the previous two, THIS version IS the one I like, far superior to the Albini-produced studio version. Emotional stuff.
6. The Flying Burrito Brothers - Lazy Day [Festival Express]
I play this video constantly. I have a weakness for great country-rock.
(I used to think Hillman flashed a dirty look at Leadon during the second verse; it was only after several viewings that I
realized Hillman is actually looking embarrassed that he screwed up the lyrics.)
7. Down South Sallie - Dirt and Grime
I freaking lov v v ve Sallie. No video for this one, but I've luckily seen her play twice. She is my biggest Portland crush, y'all.
She is super-cute and charming live, too. I wish she wouldn't play Monday nights so much; Mondays are tough for me to
    go out.

If you feel like doing some song-picking:
