Yesterday on a whim (by which I mean a compulsion)I went to Classy Rack on the way home and actually found just the thing I was looking for: Knee high leather riding boots with ankle buckles. I would have preferred flat soles to the 2" heels mine have, but now that I've found them, infinitely better options are bound to be popping up in every thrift store I visit. It's just the way thrifting works. In the meantime these ones are much more than serviceable, meaning they provoked me to try them on with everything I own and then be annoyed because I have to wait until September to wear them and not pass out from heat exhaustion. Between these boots, the recent flurry of wide belts, and my growing collection of mini shirt dresses, the look for Fall in Areli World is going to be very Euro mod.
