SURPRISE!
Finally done with Westco. Stuff at Snow City is starting to shape up after my little breakdown (which i feel was warrented, after four double shifts) last week. I have a system now. And lots of code words. Also i'm busy nicknaming my coworkers. Even scrubbing the drains this afternoon, which was probably the most disgusting chore i've ever been assigned, was pleasant due to two things: a) i get off work every day while it's still sunny and warm and I have the whole afternoon to nap/work out/goof off and b) the people i work with are, on the whole pretty cool. I love june. I love sun. Plus i got TWO LETTERS IN ONE DAY OMG PROM QUEEN.
ps: latest baking projects are as follows: The bran muffins I made were tasty (not to mention very useful for action-packed snacking) but unfortunately went bad because I fenced them in. i mean tupperware. Last week I made coffee cake, which I never tasted myself because it was for mom's breakfast meeting. I was told it was delicious. Coming up this week is red velvet cake, which kristen and I are making after having been inspired by Snow City's weekly dessert special. Also on the back burner (or in the freezer, as the case may be) is the dough for Lex's birthday cookies (shhhhhh no one tell her) which i'm waiting to bake until I get a day off and can bake, pack, and send them all at once. My current work schedule doesn't allow it.
