Family Invasion of Summer 2007

Aug 16, 2007 00:26

So last Thursday I visited with aunt (my dad's older sister) which was fun. She and I have some similar personality traits. On Friday my aunt (my mom's younger sister), my uncle and my 16 and 13 year-old cousins came up from N.C. We had dinner at my grandmother's house on Friday. On Saturday we spent the entire day in Georgetown...and I mean the entire day. I learned a few things that day. 1) Shopping with six people can be difficult, 2) Boys that are 16 and 18 are hard to extract from Sharper Image 3) Georgetown is much to big to explore in one day and has more shops than I could ever imagine...seriously I found two more I hadn't previously know about! We had dinner at my house that night. Sunday we had dinner at the Village Wharf because it was my grandmother's 84th birthday. On Monday night we had dinner at grandmother house again. At least on Monday I didn't have to eat at kids table...I'm 21 for crying out load. So I have spent most of this week spending time recovering from the "Family Invasion of Summer 2007." And oh joy...school starts next week!
