Ok

Now that I have more time to update and the boys are asleep, here goes:

Left at the ass crack of dawn on Monday morning, but it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. After loading all of our shit into the boat, we took off and made it to Kingsland Bay within a few hours. Of course the hours inbetween the mexican and i spent tanning on the roof, watching out for hot guys and lookig at houses ("What's that say?" "I think it's a house." hahaha) Swam at Kingsland Bay, admired sailboats which totally made me sad, I miss sailing and can't wait to fix up the laser. Made it to Burlington for dinner and then the mexican and I walked around the water front for a little while ("You could have a hooker in your room in a little bit..." "These bugs are SICK!")
Next day we headed out to Plattsburgh where we spent most of the evening at the Naked Turtle and made a new friend, Mike. ("What the hell is that thing on the wall? SICK!") Then to Geoffrey's for dinner and back down to the Naked Turtle for a t shirt ("I Got Crabs at the Naked Turtle probably doesn't come in child size" hahaha). After that the mexican and I rowed out to the breakwater in the dingy and saw a muskrat or mole or something long and fury and "SICK". So we rowed back in and went to bed.
Down to Port Henry which wasn't very exciting, total ghost town but gorgeus view of the Champlain bridge with a full moon over it... absolutely amazing. Next morning we saw a leech or soemthing nasty at the spot to put your boat in the water... didn't make me want to swim out to the sand bar.
Down to White Hall which was a terrible bore and back up to Chipman's point to unload and go home, sunburned, tired, and happy.

So overall, since you probably didn't read that because it was terribly long and boring, it was a great trip. Got my mind off a lot of stuff that I'd been dreading would annoy me the entire time, but instead I forgot about everything that was bugging me. It was like all the drama and bullshit that goes on at home stopped at the dock and didn't follow me.

I should spend more time on the water... I'd like that, a lot.

Of course now that I'm home everything has kind of caught up to me, but I'm still in that laid back, chill in the sun with a book mode so I honestly can't care. Except the whole "there if you need me" kind of thing, cause I think that's always in the front of my mind.
