Anyone who knew Izuru knew that he was prone to be a little gloomy, sometimes downright depressed. Everyone gave him a little wiggle room, for his demeanor tended to be a notch below the standard. But those who knew him also could tell when there was something outside the range of normal Izuru moods.
Momo was a sensitive subject for him, and to hear his friend say something like falling out of love, well, Shuuhei would really be dumb or a jerk not to be worried. It was just like Izuru to play it down as 'stupid', somehow hoping that if he pretended it did not matter that it would disappear and all his worries with it. But no, Shuuhei knew Izuru well enough to know that he had most likely been dwelling on it for a while, and it just now decided to bubble to the surface.
What worried him the most, though, was if there was something that brought this on.
Standing in front of the Third Division Captain's private quarters, Mr. Sake stood ready for duty in his right hand, as Shuuhei raised his left to knock quietly but timed on the door. "Kira?"
