Characters: Apache and Mila Rose
When: April 1st, evening.
Where: In the desert outside of Las Noches. Where no one can hear you scream.

Summary: Mila Rose and Apache have a pow-wow.
Mila Rose had been anxious. The silence of Las Noches had begun to grate on her nerves, and her own paranoia kept her tense and jumpy, wondering if and when the other shoe was going to fall. Gin and Aizen hadn't seemed mad or even all that bothered by the mini-invasion, but Tousen had certainly been displeased by the fiasco. The threat of retribution loomed like some dark, nebulous thing waiting in the wings to crash down on her head like a proverbial ton of bricks. It was always possible that she and Lilinette had been caught on camera assisting the Shinigami (and wouldn't Szayel just love that), and though Aizen hadn't appeared mad that Orihime had escaped, the fact that two of his creations had gone as far as to help the enemy would surely provoke a different reaction.
Apache wasn't making things easier. She'd been just as stir-crazy since Orihime's departure as Mila had been. Would she be angry that Mila had a hand in the girl's escape? It seemed like a good idea at the time, but the Amazon was beginning to wonder if she had made the right decision after all.
Putting these thoughts on the back burner, she walked at a steady pace down the maze of halls to the southern exit where she was to meet Apache. Her gait wasn't rushed, and the sway of her walk and set of her shoulders displayed only a casual nonchalance. She didn't want to attract any attention, and the best way to do that was to act like nothing unusual was going on. It wasn't abnormal for Arrancar to head into the desert on patrol. Halibel was sometimes gone for days at a time trekking through the sands of Hueco Mundo on her patrols.
Arriving at the exit, Mila fell into a holding pattern waiting for Apache's arrival. The younger Fracción didn't take long to appear, and without the delay of any sort of formal greeting, the two set off into the wild outside of Las Noches.
