Summary: Ukitake had a bad reaction to something in the King's Realm, and it's won him a stay in the Fourth. His doctor and old friend checks in on him.
It was gearing up to be a long day in the Fourth. No longer than most, of course; nearly every day was long in the medical profession. Still, it could have been worse, such as those days during and after that unusual invasion.
Her people scuttled about their work as she strode down the halls, busy with their early morning tasks. Unohana herself was little different, though her first visit was as much personal as it was professional.
Ill he might be, but it was good to have Jyuushirou home.
She smiled softly when she entered his room, noting that he was sitting up in bed today. Always a favourable sign. His gaze was trained on the window, perhaps admiring the gardens from where he sat. Not all rooms managed to have a good view of the gardens, but Unohana had ensured that he got one. Jyuushirou did so enjoy such views.
"Good morning," she said lightly. "I see you've a bit more energy than the past few."
