Where: Fourth Division, Unohana's private garden.

Summary: The remaining members of the Old Guard attempt to find a way to save their good friend's life without sacrificing the lives of others.
Unohana came to her private gardens to relax herself from stressful days. But these past two had been much more than stressful, and even the serenity of the garden didn't help. If she could not figure out a plan of action, she could end up losing one of her oldest friends.
Unconsciously, her hand strayed to Minazuki's hilt. She did not normally carry the sword into the garden with her, but she found herself unwilling to part with it this time. It was the only true measure of comfort she had at the moment, an assurance that she was not powerless.
Perhaps this discussion would yield a workable plan. Sharing ideas was the first step toward a decision being made. But there was limited time. Conversation needed to lead to action, and quickly. Ukitake's life, and the lives of the Octava's true killers, depended on that.
She didn't look behind her, or even smile when her guest arrived. "Kyouraku-taichou."
