Normally, Rai wouldn't be out at a party during the week. He liked to keep a clear head for work, after all. But with things being slow in the Tenth since the Senkaimon closed, he didn't have half as much work as usual. Especially since he'd done most of it early on account of being bored and trying to force himself to behave.

Of course, with the work all done, there was nothing to distract him from causing a little trouble.

He took a sip of his drink, watching the drunken revelry of the others in the room. He'd socialized for a while first, but now he felt like sitting at the bar. It was kind of funny to watch drunk people; they could do the stupidest things. Like that little woman he recognized as being from the Fourth shouting and making threatening gestures at some Eleventh Division brute. Fortunately for the woman, said brute was currently lying half-conscious on the floor in a puddle of spilled sake.

Rai couldn't help but laugh. Man, some people just didn't know their limits. He knew how to keep himself from getting fall-down drunk.
