Summary: Hanatarou is looking for a book and Captain Unohana just happens to have it.
By the time Hanatarou had worked up the nerve to go ask Captain Unohana about the book, he was half-hoping she wouldn't be there. It was such a simple matter, really, barely enough to be worth concern or mentioning. Hardly worth bothering her her taking up her time for such a silly little request. Yet Hanatarou remained rooted to the spot, just outside the hallway that lead to her office. Just a little book. He clutched a scrap of paper in his fist tight enough his knuckles went white. The name of the book was still legible, if barely, written in neat little characters that were now smudged with sweat and the pressure of his hand.
Hanatarou took a deep breath and started down the hallway. It was a longer time before he could actually bring himself to knock.
