Raven is very... \o_O/. Surprised, happy, uncertain. Immediately after their thread was very much like his mental state post-Shrine of Baction - this whole realm of possibilities he'd assumed were completely closed to him have opened up, and he doesn't really have any idea what to do with it, so he decided to just going to take things as they come and not think too hard about it.

Of course, shortly after that Judith kissed him too, which was another surprise even newly-open-Raven was not prepared for. So he's sort of... getting the idea that he's not a completely unlikeable person. Even (or possibly particularly) when he's being honest with people. That makes things more complicated though, because being completely unlikeable is easier to deal with than being partially likeable, in the sense that he feels like Judith is just indulging/messing with him and he knows that Yuri's most important person is Flynn, and Raven... doesn't mind because right now he's still getting more than he ever expected, but also doesn't really know how to navigate those kind of relationships at all. So that brings him back to happy-confused-whatever-I'll-just-take-things-as-they-come.

...And then he had a mistletoe thread with Naoto! Which didn't go horribly! And Raven really likes her and finds talking to her to be amazingly comfortable. And that's weird too, because Raven's a romantic, and he sort of envisioned... not that he ever really thought it would happen to him, but he imagined that if he ever admitted his feelings to someone and they were returned, that would be... a conclusion? Not that he expected to settle down with Yuri and a white picket fence and never look at a woman again or anything. But he did expect his normal tangle of head-over-heels unrequited love to... stop. And it hasn't, really, he's still doing it just as much. There is just more kissing.

The kissing is pretty cool though.

TL;DR more than you needed to know! I am not sure any of that even made sense.

What did Haruki think of Justin?

Haruki thinks Justin has a point! Haruki has a feeling that he can't fight the way he's changing anymore and that ultimately being a killer is what he is! Still, something about how ... casually Justin addressed it bothers him, making him somewhat wary of Justin in general. Still, Haruki would pry more about him, just to understand Justin more and be able to gauge how much of a thread he can be.

BECAUSE JUSTIN IS OBNOXIOUS?! Nothing particularly big happened and I had no locked posts or anything. But I was honestly expecting people to get pissed at him a lot sooner because he... is deliberately obnoxious. All the time. In many ways. He pretends not to hear people, he is really self-righteous about his religion to the point of being ridiculous about it, and he responds to pretty much anything with cocky banter/taunting. He murders people who are dear to people he knows and shrugs it off, and then chides people for using naughty words! OBNOXIOUS.

Tyki was particular was pissed because Justin suspected him and kept attacking him, even when he was down, and Ken was similar plus bad religion pings. IMHO at least, I am sure they could tell you better. :|b

...I was super pleased that people were so pissed at him though because it means I am doing something right. |D

Do you think I would like di[e]ce? Anyone in particular? It sounds cool but I know very little about it. :|a

I'mmmmmm not sure! Because diece can be a ridiculously tricky canon to follow because of the plot twists (I won't lie IT CONFUSES THE HELL OUT OF ME PLENTY OF TIMES) and the lack of scanlated material! I recommend it for people who really like seeing interesting character development unfold, pretty art and fight scenes along with chess symbolism ALL OVER THE PLACE. If that's your thing then yes! I would say read it.

...Aaaaah only one?! HOW DO I PICK. It, um. Has canon genderswap? Canon genderswap based on what you find attractive in the opposite sex, and then you turn back more slowly depending on how horny you are, and then the people who turn back last are NOT WHO YOU WOULD EXPECT. That's the first shallow awesome fact that comes to mind. I can come up with more serious ones on demand.

This is Alaric Saltzman from Vampire Diaries. He's a history teacher by day, and a vampire slayer by night! He is a little of a puppy, with wife abandonment/dead issues! He's the nice guy with a hint of snarky and he punches vampires in the face. And later on, has drinking/bonding sessions with them.

Uuuum hmm. Someone from Soul Eater! IDK who would ping you most though. Maybe Spirit? Maka's father, the most powerful Deathscythe, irredeemable womanizer, etc. He might be too flaily for you though? Ooh, actually you would probably also do really well with Soul, if I'm allowed to tell you to app a character I dropped like a month ago.

Which characters should we play together more?

I would like Merlin to meet your dragon! And George to meet Justin because George is a jewish werewolf who seems to bond well with christian preachers. Also, Frodo and Raven, I think would be an interesting combo. Also, people tell me to app their dropped characters a lot /o\

What's your take on Raven and Casey? Anything special?

IDK what's special. Even before the backstory novel I was convinced that Casey was intensely badass and competent and Raven was really topped by her, and that does appear from available evidence to be the case! In general without reading the actual novel I think Raven had an impressive amount of admiration/respect for her, honestly to the level of love really, but he never really admitted/confessed his feelings because she was already taken and they were in a middle of a war. And then she died. :( It kind of set the bar for his expectations of relationships.

What do you think Yuri thought of Schwann pre-canon?

"The guy who is never around and yet never gets fired". Beyond that, I honestly don't know if Yuri ever had any thoughts other than Does Schwann even exist or is he a figment of the knight's imagination. HE WOULDN'T PUT IT PAST THEM 8D

What do you think Raven did post game-end?

I imagine he bums around both Dahngrest and Zaphias a lot, helping out Harry and the Schwann brigade knights while avoiding actually taking any responsibility for anything. HE REALLY DOESN'T WANT TO BE A GUILD LEADER. OR COMMANDANT. But there's a lot of work to be done postgame and they've lost a lot of leadership so he... advises. And also does a lot of physical work, while complaining about it a lot. And probably hangs out with everyone in the party a lot still because I can't imagine they are the types to go their separate ways and stop talking to each other once their epic quest is over.

How about Yuri?

Yuri travels the world! He never stays anywhere for too long though, always preferring to keep a move on. He probably makes regular visits to Zaphias and Dahngrest, but other than that, it's probably really hard to catch him. His work probably ranges from chores for Vesperia to dealing with any monster attacks that might be occurring.

Do you have any goals for your characters?

Nnnnnnnmaybe. In general am still getting used to this novel concept called character progression! The two characters I've played most behind Raven were Graham and Medusa, and while I really enjoyed playing them they weren't going to... change much.

So my goal is to have things happen with Raven that help him grow and change as a person! WHICH IS HAPPENING, IT'S RAD. For Perscitia and Justin idk though. My shallow goal with Justin is to troll and banter with dangerous people, which is basically the same sort of things I did with Graham and Medusa, only it's new and different.

I usually have two goals! One is to have them develop to a point that I feel satisfied with what I've done with them or to take them through their development and have them come out similar/close to what they were at the end of their canon! I really enjoy mirroring canon/camp development because while it's still different and new, it gives me a great sense of joy if I can pull off the same ...effects as canon has on that character in camp!
