another 101/1001 thing DONE!
As I was riding around today I realized I hit another biking milestone: I've now biked over 400km this summer! Last summer I gave myself the goal of 350km, which I attained all the way in November. This summer, I hit 400 in August! So of course that means I have to give myself a crazy goal for next summer/future, of 600km. It's high, but do-able! Especially since I will soon be living downtown, and have more easily accessible biking areas (not to mention that during the summer months I probably won't be buying a bus pass, as I'll be walking to work).
And no, I didn't bike 751 km this year . . . I couldn't reset from 350km this spring (yes, I really did hit it right on, in fact I had to do an extra loop around the block on my way home to get it right on!), so instead 751-350=401km! Now I get to wait and see how many more km I ride before storing my bike for the winter.
