2008.07.30 Yelle at the Francofolies
I've been a little behind in my public posts lately, I blame it on the fact that I was apartment hunting. Though that didn't stop me from going out and doing stuff (and taking pictures), I just didn't get around to posting. And now I'm going to try to catch up.
Last Wednesday I met up with the always fun
zippy_ziggy for some Zyng, then we headed over to the Francofolies to see Yelle.
While I like the atmosphere of outdoor shows, it was a bit strange at first to be standing in a parking lot listening to electro-pop that would have been much more at home in a nightclub. However as the show progressed it got dark out, and eventually everything felt a-ok! Yelle and her "band" put on an excellent show, high energy and very animated! And best of all . . . free!
