Sometimes the TV is like a lover
Apparently, I say the stupidest shit sometimes. Like, "You can pass the BAR test without going to law school! You just have to study like an idiot!"
Apparently, I also do very stupid shit. Like printing out a coupon for 40% off at Borders, going to Borders less than half an hour later, yet forgetting to use it. Luckily, the cashier was nice and, when my friend and I went back to ask if we could return one of the books and use the coupon, even though he wasn't supposed to, let us use it. :) Somehow, I managed to justify my stupidity to my friend.
Me: It's called pay-it-forward. If someone's nice to you, you be nice to someone else. And then the world is happy. :D
Her: There are crazy people in the world.
Me: Then you be crazy, too! Be crazy nice! :D
The other day, the same friend (aaksjfhad OKAY. JENNIFER. There. She has a name.) and I were walking to the local Walmart because I needed some clay for a Spanish project. After 2 miles, and Walmart was finally in sight, we saw a firetruck. First thing we thought. "SHIT. Don't go to Walmart. Fuck, it's going to Walmart, isn't it? PLEASE LET IT JUST BE THE MCDONALD'S INSIDE THAT BURNED DOWN." What joy. Luckily, Walmart didn't burn down. We still don't know why they were there, though. Nonetheless, it was pretty pathetic. And usual of my life.
Accomplishment of the day: I learned how to tie a tie!
