i'm baaaackkk
well, i've actually been back for like a day and a half, but shhh... got home the 23rd at like 10:30 PM.
so i was supposed to go to staten island today, but i don't think i can because my ride isn't going. douchebag. fuckin' debbie, man. i hate him somtimes. >_<
but anyway... so vietnam was cool. our big group was divided into 3 teams that split up, but out of the big group, which was 40-someodd people, we helped over 7,000 people. that's pretty fucking cool. i was with the dental side (there was the dentists, doctors, and a pharmacy so they could get their meds) and i was basically running the sterilization center. i also got to pull a few teeth, it was pretty sick.
so now i know how to deliver anesthetic (even if i can't spell it), elevate and extract teeth, and then suture them back up again. haha i should be a fucking dentist.
anyways, so i was rooming with this chick angela for the first few days, but then i switched and started staying with robin, who's a dentist. she's fucking cool, man. i miss her. she's still all over the place, traveling like it's her job, and that's awesome. she lives in canada (like everyone else on the trip... save for 3 people including me) but is coming to NY in sept with her bf to see the US Open. my mom offered to have them crash here, but her bf may have some place lined up already. either way, i'ma see that mothafucka when she gets here.
anyways, it's like 8:15, so i'm going to get dressed and go to mitch's before he wakes up. i love waking him up. he's so cute in the morning. actually, no, he always is. but hey.
i sure do love that kid.
