so i've realized now that i've lost and gained many things. for one, i've lost a lot of weight in my stomach and i have a new haircut that i'm satisfied with. my heart still belongs to justin and he's back from chicago. on the other hand, i've grown a distance, an invisible line between my best friends (that i can't even consider them that anymore) and myself, a very thick line.
at least i'm getting farther and farther with my book. i've done a lot of research for the story lately and now i have three new communities waiting to become a success.

now "the island" is one of my favorite movies,
so on saturday, i got ready all day and then around 8:00, justin's grandparents and i drove down to flint to the train station to pick him up from his visit in chicago. we waited for about an extra hour just for the stinking train to come while in the process, three different trains zoomed by with about 50 boxcarts. so finally, when the amtrak pulled in and the moment that justin got off it, i ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug, i just would not let go. then we went to applebee's and had a really late dinner there. i kept wanting to hold justin's the hand the whole we were waiting for our food and i kept leaning on him. on the way home, we kept laying on each other and there was a moment where tears started swelling in my eyes as i looked up at the guy who i knew would always be a part of my life, a part of my world, the guy i saw my future with. i smiled and held him all the rest of the way home.
