My mother would be so disappointed. This was a contestant (and I think the runner-up? Swedes, help me out here) on the Nationals of the Eurovision Song Contest, and Mom really, really hates this song. She was all, "you are not worthy, puny mortals," during most of the contest, actually, although she didn't loathe this song QUITE as much as the one that won.
This video is deeply weird. Why are there so many girls? What is going on with the cutting? Will we ever find a HQ version that is actually HQ? What's with the snake? So many questions, so little brain matter left to answer them. Man, he's hot. Kill me now.

Alternating between Daniel Deronda and Stranger In A Strange Land. Just finished A Handmaid's Tale, finally.

Despite talking to myself constantly, and despite making up stories and telling them to myself out loud, and despite what my mother thinks, I have never had an imaginary friend. I used to wish I had one, and I kind of think I should have in a way, being the weird-ass kid I was? But I've always known exactly where the line between reality and make-believe is, and I can't make myself pass it, no matter how interesting it might be on the other side.

So many. People who write "breath" when they mean "breathe" -- one is a verb, the other is a noun. People who use "yea" instead of "yeah" -- these things may look alike, but they are not actually the same. The passive aggressive use of "LOL" online. Other boy-ing in fiction. I could go on for days.
