I. Okay. So the past week or so I've been hard at work writing. I haven't wanted to say anything about it, because I tend to jinx my mojo by talking about too much, so I've manfully stayed off LJ, writing my little ass off.
And now? IT'S FUCKING FINISHED, MOTHERFUCKERS.
28,000 words. 28 motherfucking K! I cannot believe it, I've actually written FANFIC that is almost 30,000 words! Holy motherfucking shit.
I'm. You have to understand, this is a big deal for me. I've never finished a fanfic (on my own) in my LIFE and the longest I've written has been about 11k (SGA fandom, Ocean's 11 AU), so this? 28k and an actual finished fic (with possible sequels in the making, if I get the way I want)? Is so incredibly awesome and amazing and intense and unbelievable, I'm actually, literally almost crying. It's an accomplishment, is what it is.
So yeah. I finished it. Unbelievable.
ETA: Actually, now that I think about it, would someone want to look it over for me? As I said, 28k, eventual Pete/Mikey (of all fucking things -- the things I do for the people I love, seriously). Any takers? It's only partially about the slash, actually, and it's pretty PG, but would anyone want to look at it? Bee and Aly have kept an eye on me while writing it, but I figure the more eyes the better, right?
