I am so sorry to hear about your niece. Does she have a history of seizures? I'm not trying to be nosy, I'm not sure how much you were around lj last year, but my son Xander developed a seizure disorder last summer, so I understand how scary it can be. I'm here if you want to talk about it :)

No there is no history of siezures in my family and this one was really wierd. She just tuned out for about 20 min and started throwing up. She was completely unresponsive, but still breathing. She seems to be doing better now but who can tell? THanks for the support though :)

Absence seizure then? : / Here's hoping it was just a freak occurrence! Happy to hear she's doing okay. They are so surreal.
