My response to
square0ne's interview questions of:
1) Are you engaged yet/how long until you propose if not?
Wow...trust that if I were engaged, you would know...though I do find the idea of announcing an engagement for the first time in a random LJ post somewhat amusing. But, no, I'm not engaged, and I don't imagine that I would propose to someone until I was more secure in my career (i.e. post-law school, once I've got a job and can reasonably predict what I'll be doing for the next 5-10 years).
2) Do you consider yourself an adult?
Occassionally I usually find myself in situations where I'm behaving "grown up", but given that I almost always find such situations novel and somewhat amusing, no, I don't consider myself an adult...and I probably won't until I have kids (assuming that I ever do...)
3) If you could have any director and star (you can have a team if it matters Laurel/Hardy count as a package deal), alive or dead, what movie/ TV show would you make?
Depending on what you mean by team, I think there's two different ways to go. First, if I can take any size team of actors/actresses, then I choose Joss Whedon and the cast of Firefly, for the Serenity Prequel.
I'm I can't take that cast, I think I'll recruit Ron Howard and Anthony Hopkins to make the Timothy Zahn Star Wars Novels into a movie. If Hopkins can handle the make up, he gets to be Thrawn, otherwise, he's stuck being the crazy jedi.
4) What value would you say is derived from watching reality TV beyond entertainment?
Huh...I probably wouldn't watch reality TV alone, as I derive significant pleasure from the opportunity for discussion (usually speculation and criticism) that watching reality TV provides. Aside from that social aspect, I would say that there's little to no other value (beyond entertainment) to be derived from reality TV (unless you want to count something like MythBusters, in which case, I guess you could learn something, but that's not really reality TV)
5) Which fictional moment would you most enjoy seeing in reality? (as in, that would be cool to watch; not in a change the world way)
If I remember correctly, the opening scene to Diamond Age involves nano tech forming an entire island for a princess...I think that'd be fairly impressive to watch. Of course, there's various other large scale creation sequences that would probably be equally awe inspiring, but that one just happens to come to mind...
