lookit, I've Returned

well... i just got access to the internet again... it has been quite a while so i thought i'd update... my main reason for this update is to post a poem i wrote ages ago... i only have one hard copy of it because it was typed on my old computer and has since been deleted. the one paper copy is starting to fall apart and i enjoy the poem so here it is.

Global Destruction for Dummies
The earth is calm and tranquil,
It all begins.
As if from nothing, life springs forth
At first only vegetation spreads
Consuming the globe.
Filling it with beautiful shades, color, shapes.
Then by random chance,
Creatures appear.
They are ever-changing;
Getting stronger faster, more complex,
Smarter if you will.
Reproducing,
From generation to generation they spill.
Soon the earth is overtaken
A world of crawling, writhing,
Walking, communicating, thriving.
Soon they start to fly,
As do the fists of anger.
Next the subconscious game begins;
"My country is stronger, faster, smarter"
Weapons grow from the hands of men
The destruction of war seems the fate
Murderous attacks between brothers
The pain grows as the world is destroyed
It never stops
Until the world is unlivable
Nothing and no one exist
Finally, for the first time in ages
The earth is calm and tranquil,
Waiting for the random pattern again.
