Today a girl in my Oral Comm. class was giving us a lecture on the brain and she told us that the brain prunes itself from the ages of 13 to 22 and she said this is why we don't know how to make the right choices and decisions until we are adults.
I beg to differ. I think this is the reason we can't make the right choices when we ARE adults.
I would kill for the wisdom I had as an 8 year old.
And no, this isn't one of those "I'm a teenager, I know everything and my parents don't." raves. I get along with my parents fine. That's why they give me freedom.
