[The feed opens and, hey, look who's finally made it to Cherrygrove! Phoenix looks pretty disheveled, really. His Pokemon aren't with him, either.]

Er. Hello, uh, anyone who's getting this! This is...Cherrygrove, right? I just got here, and, uh. What do I DO, now, exactly? [He scratches the back oh his head sheepishly.] I mean, Butch and Lady are ( Read more... )

I worked at the Center while I was there.

It's boring as hell and you have to dress in the grossest pink scrubs ever, but it pays pretty well at least.

...good thing I decided to work at the inn, then. [He's so phobic of Pokemon Centers that the thought of WORKING there makes him shiver.]

[...oh wait, who is this girl again he has no idea.] Er, have we met? I'm Phoenix. Phoenix Wright.

... Yeeeeah, I don't think pink's your color. No offense or anything.

And uh-- oh. I guess we haven't! Heather Mason. Nice to meetcha. [She's totally lost track by this point of who's new and who's not.]

It...isn't, huh. [Especially considering how he knows someone who tends to wear a shade of aforementioned color and does NOT want to be associated with him, oh christ--]

Well, er. It's nice to meet you, as well, Ms. Mason. [Grins, albeit a bit nervously.]

[Poor Phoenix. If he even so much as mentioned Edgeworth, Heather would probably gleefully inform him that she thought Miles was a stuck-up, sarcastic fop. Who was fun to annoy.]

Likewise! So you're new here, huh? You got that... lost dog thing goin' on like most other people who just just showed up.

[This is Heather. She can sense fear.]

[And then he would have happily agreed. AHAHA.]

Er, a bit, I suppose. I've been here for...five days, about? [He scratches his head, still pretty nervous.]

How about you? You sound like you've been here a while, at least.

Yeeeeah, I've been here... more than a month, now, actually. The days kinda blend together after awhile.

A whole month? That's...I guess we really are stuck here, then. [Not amused in the slightest.]

Yeah. No one knows how to get home. I don't think anybody's happy about it.

Gee, I can't imagine why. [/sarcasm.]

...but, it's...true, then? No one knows how we can get home? [The utter IMPOSSIBILITY of this situation is starting to get to him.]

Not yet.

[They've already figured out who, TECHNICALLY, is behind the 'abduction' of so many people, just not... how. Or why. But Heather's not convinced that it's going to be that way forever. Put so many pissed-off people in one place and something's bound to burst.]

There's a lot of people who have important shit back home. Sooner or later, one of 'em's gonna figure out how we can leave.

Not...yet, no. Does that mean someone's working on it? I'm trying to figure this out, too, but, uh. I'm not really an expert on this place to begin with, so...ahaha. [Rubbing his neck again, a bit embarassed.]

Yeah...[Immediately thinks of the people left at home and fkgktfhk. He's homesick like whoa.]

Well, not in an organized fashion... but a lot of us are keeping an eye on what's going on.

So far all anyone knows is that some organization called Team Rocket is responsible for bringing us here.

[Heather hasn't found out enough to feel accomplished. All she really has is straight-up those two words: 'Team Rocket'. But hey... it's something.]

I...see. Aren't the police here doing anything about this? If these Team Rocket guys are responsible for this...and I saw them steal a young girl's Pokemon earlier, too. I mean, how can they get AWAY with it? Godammit if only I was back home. I could...I could do something about this.

As far as I can see, no.

They're more interested in busting kids for accidentally trying to use an unmarked boat than they are in helping anybody.

[This is a bit of an unfair accusation on Heather's part-- when in reality the police forces are just as stumped as the newbies are. They've been doing what they can. ... Buuuut Heather's a semi-reformed 'bad kid' who kind of has an old grudge against people with badges.]

... You could do something about it? What do you do back home?

[...well, good thing he hasn't flashed his attorney's badge at her, huh? AHAHAHA.]

Well, that WOULD be consider stealing, and it IS kind of a crime. But you'd think they'd be more concerned with kidnap--Pokenapping and all of that than...minor larceny. [He looks a bit put off. Kind of reminding him of the oaf-filled police force back in Los Angeles.]

I'm a lawyer. Er, I tend to do more detective work than lawyer work, though, really...
