[A few seconds pass, before Butch replies with a hearty "Woop!" and the sound of a sudden rush of water can be heard. A panicked squeak of an unknown Pokemon shortly follows this, and a shout from Phoenix.] T-that's not what I meant! Look, you've hurt it! I just wanted you to get my badge ba--ah, uh, thank you. [Butch cries out happily at being thanked, and one can assume that the Wooper brought the badge back to Phoenix.] Maybe I should keep this in my pocket for now. But...
[Footsteps, and then a weak whine that appears to come from a Sentret.] Look, Butch, you smashed it against this ledge. You alright, girl?
[...silence. Then, an odd sound.]
...okay, ow. T-that was uncalled for! No biting! You must be alright, then. [A sigh.] Let's see what this Pokegear thing has to say about you... [Another pause as Phoenix fiddles with the thing, and then--]
