Specifically, Phoenix and Luke's feet. There's tile, so it looks as if they might be in the Goldenrod Department store. It's hard to tell, however, since only said floor and said feet can be seen.

What they're saying, however, can be heard quite clearly.]

Of course it matters. They're two entirely different things.

... They serve the same purpose, right?

What's the big deal?

But one's a ladder, and the other's a step-ladder.

[8| WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND.] How would we be able to tell the difference if everyone called a step-ladder a ladder?

... Why would it MATTER?

They're ladders, it's just that one's built a little different.

But if you asked someone to bring you a ladder, and they brought you a step-ladder, what would you do then?

[Fggjgh. He glowers.] I'm not "worked-up" about it! [Yes, you are.] I'm just trying to make a point!

I'd use whatever they brought me, because they're basically the same.

[JEEZ PHOENIX WHAT IS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION.]

[She grins a little at his glower, though. Is this a sore spot she sees? One that can be POKED?]

No, no, I mean what if, for some reason, you could only use a ladder that had one side? But then someone brought you one with two? It's a huge difference.

[No, Phoenix, you're just a stubborn moron. Stop it.]

Then I'd fold it and use it like a normal, one-sided ladder.

Duh.

...but what if you can't fold it?

[YOU'RE NOT WINNING THIS ARGUMENT THAT EASILY.]

Oh, please.

I've never even seen a step-ladder that you can't fold.

Do they even make them anymore?

[YES I AM.]
