Not just in the sense that he hasn't been getting enough sleep -- he seems to be rather exhausted on the emotional scale, as well. December is not the best month for him in the first place, and what with all of the drama he's been catapulted into as of late, it's no wonder that he looks as if he's about to fall over at any minute.
However, despite this? He looks pretty cheerful!

[It's...really hard to see him, actually, considering the whirling snow -- and all of the layers he's got piled on, including a thick scarf that's obscuring the bottom half of his face -- but you can still tell that he's grinning.] It's, uh...it's pretty bad out here right now, so make sure you all stay inside.

Phoenix blinks, looking up to see what he just ran into. Adjusting the scarf, he reaches up to rub at some of the snow that's accumulated on the side of the building, and reveals the words "GOLDENROD POKEMON GYM.
He grins.]

[He turns back towards the camera, coughs bit, and then gives it a little wave.]

[It's a long while before you get another feed from Phoenix, but when you do, it looks like he's back in his toasty hotel room! His face is completely red from the chill outside, he's shivering, he's wrapped up in about ten blankets, and he might have just sneezed a bit.
But that doesn't seem to have dampened his spirits any, though, as he moves the blankets aside so he can flash his shiny new Plain badge at you, from where it's pinned to his collar beneath his Zephyr and attorney's badge.]
Well, I think it was worth it.
