so summertime tv has gotten so bad that i am catching up on "joey" re-runs. i have 3 netflix dvd's to watch and for some reason i just can't bring myself to do it, but i had a dream about "firefly" last night so i guess that'll be the first disc i watch this weekend. wow, i'm in serious need of social assistance as i only go out once a month nowadays and my life revolves completly around tv. "beauty and the geek" is so rad though!
mtv movie awards recap:
-jimmy fallon is now imitating mike meyers. great.
-eminem get over it, you got dissed by a puppet and now you're writing songs about it. you culd be a bigger loser then me.
-l.lo the blonde hair has got to go, and you probably are a coke fiend as the tabloids suggest, but you actually seemed like a cool chick last night. flabberghasted and flattered you took the time to slap a lot of hands in the pit and i give you props for that.
-katie and tom you are fucking creeping me out. tom cruise may be the one scientologist who actually is an alien.
-dustin hoffman brilliant! no one of my generation could ever have that much class or that great of a sense of humor.
-mariah carey = anna nicole smith
-speaking of musical guests, what the hell did any of these musical guests have to do with any of the movies??? yeah it would be copying the oscars to have bands play songs from the movies, but make it connect people!
-the breakfast club...shadows of their former selves. anthony michael hall has gone from geek to jock. what does this say to us who actually related to farmer ted?
-kill hannah as incidental music! congrats guys.
-napolean dynamite was the big winner, but it's an mtv distributed film. i don't know how to feel about that. i know that the people vote, and i do firmly believe that this film deserved all of its accolades, but still it's kinda fishy.
