*I was typing this Entry the other day and my computer got the blue screen of death and unfortunately I lost part of the entry. I recreated some of it. Remember, this is a few day's old*
So today I got a call from the doctor and he told me that my test all came back fine which is a relief. I think that it was kind of starting to bother me for awhile not knowing what my test results would be. (not like it's really that big of a deal anyway)
I got to work with Jaime tonight. I love working with her, she makes the time go by so much faster. However time does seem to almost come to a hault when working at CVS. On Thursday out District Manager and Territory Manager are coming in and the store has to be perfect. I guess the TM name is Terry Tool and we are suppose to address him by Mr. Tool, I hope I don't giggle when I say it. Anyway, work was pretty much uneventful today as usual.
After work Patrick, Nellie and I met up with Sara and Liz at Pochi's. I got a Strawberry/Apple Smoothie with Cocoa Jelly. The last time I went to Pochi's I decided to try the Cocoa Jelly instead of the Boboa and I REALLY like it! I think I am probably going to get the Cocoa Jelly from now on. Afterwards, we all decided to walk down High Street for fun.
This Past weekend I went up to Kent, it was fun as expected and I got to catch up with some people. It's hard for me to believe that I have only been gone for a month, it feels like so much longer than that. I decided that I would drive up Saturday morning instead of Friday night. I had to work 12 hours on Friday between the two job's and I was just way too tired to make the commute up to Kent.
On the way there I got off on Route 250 and stopped at one of the Sattelite Stores that our Scout Shop has. Sherrie was working and I got to talk to her for a good hour and a half. She want's me to come down and work Encampment which is at the end of September. It's on a weekend and Ashland is only an hour south of Kent so I think I'm going to do it.
After roaming around the store I continued my trip to Kent.
I first arrived at Kenny's where Simon, Kenny and Cory were anxiously waiting for me. Eric came over soon after and we all thought that it would be appropriate to go to lunch. We went to Rocknes(I had missed their food). Afterwards I went back to Kenny's where we watched some movies and then decided to go up to Cleveland for a Birthday party. After the Party all the brothers went to the Interbelt to catch up on some old times. The belt was actually pretty dead and for the most part uneventful. I did get two phone numbers however. They were only fishing for sex however and I wasn't the least bit interested. For the first time I got to see Cory and Scott together as a couple, I watched in amazement as one wouldn't let the other detach from their side. I found it amusing. After escaping some lesbian drama and being hit on by some tricks we decided to call it a night and go home. The next morning (afternoon) I woke up and Kenny and I decided to watch The Edge of Seventeen, what a classic. Afterwards we went to Wally World and dug through a bin full of discounted DVD's. We found The Muppets Take Manhattan and decided to buy it, man I had forgotten about that movie.
Rather than staying till morning I had decided to make the drive home that night. I said my goodbye's and left Kenny's when all of the sudden I get the sudden urge to call Travis. He usually goes home to St. Mary's on weekends so I figured that I could atleast call him eventhough I wasn't going to be able to see him. Well much to my suprise Travis decided to come back to school early! So naturally I made a beeline to Travis' dorm. We hung out for a good hour and a half and it was awesome. I got so carried away that I didn't realize how late it was! It was 12:30 and I still had a 2 hour drive home. I thought about crashing at Travis' but I decided that I would take a chance and just drive home. Boy what a mistake. Once I got on 76 I was so exhausted that I could barely even concentrate on the road. I had thought about turning around but it was one of those things where I thought, "okay, if i can just make it to this next exit..." and I kept going. I eventually stopped at a gas station and picked up one of my favorite energy drinks, Monster. It helped A LOT, it made the rest of the drive go by much better. I eventually made it home safe and sound at 2:45.
Overall I had an awesome time in Kent. It was great seeing everyone and now I really can't wait for the fall semester to start.
Ohh!! Also, if anyone wants to go see Over the Hedge or Cars let me know. I have been dieing to see these and no one wants to go with me :-( Let me know!
