This day
It will be rainy today but dry/er the rest of the week, so my plan is to have a fairly quiet day, explore the neighborhood and go to the train station to do some errands.
Last night I woke three times the first 2-3 hours with toe and calf cramps, aargh! Happily, I had a great sleep the rest of the night.
My room is very small, with unusual perks and odd absences. When I came in last night it was completely dark in the room, I couldn't find the light switch, :-). Luckily there was a beside lamp with one of those bendable necks, so I could turn it to face the door. Ah!, 'the Italian system': you put your hotel card into a slot on the wall, so the overhead lights work. (I call it the Italian system because I first came across it in Sicily.)
The breakfast buffet offered was huge but confusing. I had an open faced sandwich, a piece of fruit, a mini-croissant, and coffee. By observation I figured out some ore options, so I'll try them tomorrow.
