This morning I printed a few things at the UPS store and turned in papers to be shredded. I also contacted my bank about international travel, so they won't question ATM withdrawals.
That actually caused a problem once: my debit card didn't work on Malta. Malta is it's own country :-) -- but apparently odd enough to a US bank to make them block a withdrawal. I ended up using a credit card for withdrawals, I think.
Later I made more nuts-and-bolts travel notes, and did a very little filing. First I had to find the files!
