An update of 2007
I still think it's important to keep a journal. Like nothing else the internet will allow us to almost always go back in time to find our thoughts meaningless meanderings from long ago, or even research events that happened years ago. A full year later I have retreated to a sort of real world reclusiveness only to find life moving even faster. The memories of Europe are forever ingrained in my mind as the ultimate adventure and perhaps it was. But now it's something different. where does the hero go after conquering the land. Do we live happy until the end of our days in a bilboesque sort of phenomenon or do new challenges come and go like social distortion says. just when you think you are done paying dues you are tested again, is that how the rest of life goes.

Right now my main interests are having fun with my girlfriend. Playing Hockey, Music, writing and learning to speak french. I am slowly starting to branch out again. maybe i do have a trust issue with people. I have a number of friends to thank for being patient with that. I am excited for certain people to return from abroad.
