you know whats amazing.... steam rooms... they are lovely. especially eucalyptus leaves ones. Video games are so frustrating these days. So real so fake. so everything. I am reading peck's the road less traveled... its about me.... about you... about all my friends. maybe cause its all reprtined on fortune cookies. i love all my classes so far, it's still the honeymoon phase but its good. i don't know what i wanna do about co habitation yet. i am convinced... no one... knows... anything.
I want to believe in myself once again.
how fun is advancing. how fun is singing again.
so there i was.. watching the super bowl. i looked at everyones away message and there all my friends were watching the super bowl. it was like we were all doing a common activity apart from each other. watching the game i began to wonder why people watch the super bowl. it's not like its the best football anymore. the best commercials will all be played online the next day. perhaps its just a time and experience to have with friends. so i decided to give it a shot. but alas even this proved to be questionable. then i wondered what kinda friends you would need when they hang out with you only for a game that doesn't matter. i'm not saying its this way if you are hang with your same friends and this is just one experience with the big group from another. but people who congregate at one place for this one occasion. it's not even a monumental occaision. its the celebrating other peoples greatness. its like the celebrating of the common folk to praise the great corporate folk. you are celebrating 3 things with the superbowl... professional greatness, corporate greatness, and friendship. If the super bowl doesn't invovle your team, or your comapny isn't a sponsor.... then only one of those applies to you.. if your lucky. all i am saying is that i can't believe so many people gather around for something that people with lots of money just put on for more money. sickening.
I think the epitome came whne i saw that the gave the mvp of the game a cadillac. a CADDY! it's eeven funnier when you realize mvp is voted on by the fans. lemme get this straight... the fans vote online for whoever rich football player gets a free car. all these guys have ehoguh money to buy hundred of cars. If it was a high school game that would be meaningful. but you are giving an overpaid athlete a free something. athletes lives are basically free on their own i don't understand what a cars gonna do. maybe i am just bitter but to me it just seems so american to do something like that. lets.. uhh reward the privlaged yeah there we go. now we'll validate him as a great QB and because thats what we do, is questions someone then say now he is great... yes because greatness equals praise of rich spoiled sports writers AND stupid bloggers with nothing else to do. (is that me? maybe)
so no nothing is going on. just more rants and raves that could be best summed up with.. schools started so now i am paying attention to stuff again because i feel like i get in a lot of arguments in class and have no idea what i am talking about. how am i supposed to impress my gf with jon stewart like rants when i can't even explain what spirtuality is to my spirtuality teacher. call me mad... call me arrogant or self indulgent. just give me scrubs, daily show, and a wii and my night is the best ever. maybe i am aiming too low right now but i think this cold streak is actually bringing out the best in me. maybe its brinigng out the me in me. I am just starting to realize how many changes have happened since i mentally phased out from the world. and i am glad to see not really anythings changed.
