(no subject)
Oh my girls...how i miss you!
I'll be home Nov. 19 or 20 for Thanksgiving and probably Dec.15 for Christmas so we should have tons of fun, go drinking, etc. Also I'm going to be home for Christmas (unlike SOME people who are going to Costa Rica and leaving us all...per usual).
Halloween was interesting. We went to University of New Hampshire to visit our friend Catherine on Friday which was crazy good times. I was a "slutty bat" and if you want to know what that means, I don't really know. Mostly I just wore all black with a short skirt and crazy patterned tights and high spiky boots. It was boss. Also I wore ears. Then Saturday night was our big Halloween dance so we all got drunk and went to party and then promptly got separated from each other, never to find each other again. And then Jon almost got in a fight with someone apparently, but luckily not (I still don't understand exactly why) and then ended up passing out. Weird.
My thesis is going alright...of course it isn't due until April so I have little motivation to really get things done yet. I turned in another prospectus for it so now the real writing can begin. Hooray. Classes are classes...I love anthropology SO much. We're forming an anthro club and making t-shirts and all 12 of us are so psyched about being anthro majors. It's incredibly dorky.
Jon is really good. We're still going with the flow and taking things as they come. But I think I've talked him out of applying to law school in Chicago or Seattle...I can pretty much handle anywhere on the East Coast. We're just having fun and enjoying being together.
I'm applying to organize this event called Girls' Day at the State House for the Maine Women's Lobby...maybe if I do a good job they will give me a job after I graduate so that I don't have to live in a cardboard box or the pool house at 465 Goldenville Rd. Because that would be no good.
ANYWAY...now i must go but I was so glad to hear the updates.
