I took my mom out to dinner tonight. Applebee's. I've never been before, and it wasnt bad at all. I had shrimp skewer salad. This has been the first time in months I could sit down and just eat and shoot the shit with my mom. Just sitting and talking. I've been missing out on alot of what goes on around here ever since I started driving. I wouldnt change a thing though.
One thing that sticks out of the conversation was something she said. It was in the context of having a boss when im older, like 40. I just stopped....almost stopped breathing. I cant imagine working for the man when im that old. There's no way. It's not going to happen.
