Watching the Freelance Astronauts' LP of Mass Effect eventually gave me a hankering to play the game myself, so last night I left my computer on with Steam downloading Mass Effect 1 and 2 side by side. Which, in hindsight, was a good move, because when I woke up today the former was 86% downloaded and the latter 82% downloaded. Goodness knows how long it would've taken for me to download both titles had I shut down the computer and started it up again in the morning like I usually do.
Anyway! I'm probably going to make a female Shepard, for a couple reasons. 1) I will admit I'm a fanboy for Garrus, and will probably have my Shepard romance them. 2) Female Shepard is voiced by Jennifer Hale. Come on, how could you -not- want to have your Shepard voiced by Samus Aran's VA?
Blah blah blah the baby ANYWAY. ME2's 90% downloaded now, it should be another few minutes. Or maybe an hour, depending on what my temperamental transfer rate wants to do. XD
