Orlando.
I want to get this in before the new year.
This year; well, three years ago, when I was a new hire, sent to a conference in Baltimore as per tradition. The conference book mentioned a future conference in Orlando, Florida.
Orlando, where Didney Worl has home base, where Universal Studios has their Theme park, where Bible World has their own theme park.
I wanted to go there. I willingly sidestepped to allow my other colleagues their chance to go on that years' conference.
At last I made it. I was almost disappointed that I couldn't go to a theme park, until I realized that I had plenty of reward points on my VISA for a park hopper ticket. To which I cashed the whole lot out.
I mean who wouldn't, a chance to ride broomsticks with Harry Potter, ride Hogwarts, Hippogryphs...
All that took place after the conference.
But for the most part of that, IT RAINED.
EVERY DAY.
All the preparation I took; 120 SPH sunblock, clothes that had 20 SPF, a gallon bottle for water and I was still heat exhausted.
It was fun though. Maybe I'll be able to make DisneyWorld. But for now Universal Studios would suffice.
