After all this time, he was still the same old Johnny.
I've already been receiving interest in continuation of this in one or another, so I may very well be exploring more of Elizabeth's psych traumas. By the beginning of Season 3 she's certainly had enough fodder for a few more, and the one on Earth isn't likely to be a completely isolated incident.
One of the things that the show just really doesn't address is the effect of the constant crises and near-death-experiences on the mental states of the populations. In some ways, it probably wouldn't manifest in Atlantis because A. they all need to keep it together or they're dead, and B. they're in a community where they can talk to others who are going through the same thing or were involved in the same events. They're much luckier than the Vietnam Vets in that respect.
May the ancestors have mercy on their souls if they ever transfer *out* of SGC & associated projects, because after a few years in Atlantis or on an SG-team your definitions of normal and normal behavior and reactions to specific types of stimuli are just going to be FUBAR. A necessity if you live in a world with the Wraith, a hazard if you try to move to suburbia.

To conclude, I'm glad you liked it!
