It's no secret that I dislike Microsoft Windows. So much so that I don't use Windows in my office or on my home computers. We all know it's insecure and unstable. Not to mention you have to reboot it just about any time you install a new program, piece of hardware, or a Windows update. It has a world-wide reputation for being so, yet it's used on over 80% of consumer computers. Let me clarify that this is not some anti-syndicalist thing. Not at all. I respect the fact that Bill Gates dropped out of college to work on his hobby, which grew into a multi-billion dollar business and made him one of the top 5 wealthiest people in the world any given year since, geesh, the mid 90s? And holding the #1 spot for over a decade until this year!
Anyway, given how unreliable Windows is, you wouldn't want it coordinating something important like a train switching station or the US nuclear arsenal, would you? Well, it's almost that bad. Take a look at the following articles and tremble in fear.

The second list is even scarier than the first.
