Happy Mabon!

Picture I took last fall - it's too early for leaves this red yet.

CK's family arrived in town late Saturday night. I'm happy to say that I'm finally over my cold and we're having a lovely time. Our nephew really enjoyed the Seattle Aquarium yesterday - and I must say, I did too. I hadn't been in many years and I like the changes they've made.

Today I squeezed in some shopping. I realized that I gave away almost all my pants last spring, as I had lost some weight and was tired of baggy pants. Since I never replaced them, the recent cold weather meant I had to go shopping. I now have a new pants wardrobe and they fit nicely.

I also purchased a new compact digital camera. It doesn't shoot RAW but is perfect in almost every other way. Ever since I took my photography course, I've been wanting to upgrade cameras, but I'm not a big tech-purchaser, so I've held back. I finally talked myself into something that is good quality but economical. I plan to have some fun figuring out how to use it with my nephew this week.
