In honor of the spring equinox, here are some of the flowers I have seen in bloom lately: hellebores, snowdrops, crocuses, heather, cherry trees, daffodils, tulips, hyacinth, forsythia, clematis, flowering quince, magnolia trees, camelia, dandelions, chickweed, indian plum, salmonberry, red-flowering currant, white-flowering currant, oregon grape (which I've noticed/remembered has a delightful, strong, sweet scent)... I took a lovely long walk this weekend along the Burke-Gilman trail but didn't bring my camera so that I could concentrate on the exercise aspect. But today's sun after yesterday's cold and rain is making me long to be out with my camera again, celebrating the season.

Also, some lovely Ostara musings from

Gospel Pagan. And
The Wild Hunt rolls out another collection of media snippets for the holiday.
