Ha, ha, I'm caught and ready to confess! I'm a city girl, don't know a thing about horses or farms or twist bread! But, I enjoyed your story just the same!

Hehehehe - then you can probably understand what Brucie felt like. ;)

I imagine all these things must be strange to city people... just like going downtown in a huge metropolis is creepy for farmers. ;)

I'm glad you liked this!

This was really cute! Clark is so sweet and I love how thrilled he is to spend some time with a friend and share his love of horses and the countryside...

Ohhh, thank you sooo much for this! I can't explain how much I love this piece! Everything of it! And yay! for Arabesque appearing too. I'm sure my instructor will be so proud of him. *giggles ( ... )

I'm so glad you liked this! :)

I totally spoke from experience when it comes to horses... I feel like I'm somewhere between the two of them. It's like I know what it's like to have no clue how to properly sit on a horse but I also know the feeling of what a horse can mean to someone. :)
And I figured that you can appreciate this feeling, too - at least judging from the way you talk about Aslan. :)

And yessss... the image of Bruce in that gear is just tooo damn funny. I mean, obviously, he'd look great in any kind of black suit but... really... out in the Kansas countryside, he'd look sooo ridiculous. ;)

Have to say I had no clue what twist bread even was, is that an american thing or something, cos quite sure we don't have that in Australia. We have damper, but you don't cook that on sticks. lol. Good end to the story though.

Hehe... yeah, I wasn't too sure if it's a regional thing (so far I know they have it in (parts of) North America and Europe) or if it's something you only experience growing up in the countryside or something completely different. ;)
It's yummy, though - you should totally try and introduce it to fellow Aussies! :)

Thanks for the comments! :D
