Ahem.
Well, if anyone still does read this, I'm still alive!
And what, pray tell, has the lazy authoress been up to? Many things, but none that would probably be of much interest here. Mostly it's been more of the same: eat, sleep, and work. Occasionally I sit for hours on end, read fanfic, and then wonder why I can't be that person who started FF.N.
But to update you on everything you wanted to know, and probably some things you didn't, here's what's going on:
Since last May, I spent the summer working at the library and on some school projects. And goofing off, but let's ignore that part.
Fall 2010: School begins. Start the new term, do my homework, TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP OMG.
Winter 2010: Merry Chri--ohmygodrelatives. Chillin' with friends. A few parties.
So that brings us here, to spring semester 2011, where I am working on my MFA and am tying up a few loose ends here, yippee. All's well that ends well, I hope, 'cause this defense BETTER END WELL. Or there will be tears.
So what has this meant for fanfic?
Writing: zilch
Reading: more avid than ever
I will try to keep this updated a little better, for anyone who actually reads it, but it will likely be with mundane things like, "Today I saw Professor X and we talked about how my paper wasn't quite focused enough on So-and-so's theory..." (By the way, I hate theory.)
So to wrap up, I'm going to read some more fanfic and try to translate a little. I'll probably only do one of those things, and you can probably guess which one it will be.
