oh college

College is pretty great. Especially college in NYC. This weekend I have blown bubbles on the sidewalk of broadway, watched Ghost Busters II, gone to a stand up comedy club, handed out fresh produce to the less fortunate in the Bronx, shopped in a street fair on broadway right outside of my dorm, gone to a phrat party (more on that to come), ran through sprinkelers, played hide and seek in the middle of the night on the columbia campus, and gone to the Seinfeld Diner at 1am for a milk shake. Today I slept until 12:30; something I have never ever done before. It was pretty exciting. I have just written my application to work in the College Activities Office. That would be a pretty great job because that is the office that gets the super discounted tickets to shows, so I would be one of the first to know about them.

So last night me and my friends decided that we wanted to try out this phrat party that was at a club. So we first went to the grocery store and bought juice boxes (obviously) so that we could have something to drink with out worying about bad stuff getting put in them. Then we get on the subway to go to the club. But we don't exactly know how to get there, but we do after like an hour and a half or something. When we arrive we notice that everyone outside the door is korean. The name of the club is Light, but there is another name too: The Korean Palace. Then it hits us: this is the Korean Phrat. We are the only white people there. The funny thing is someone gave Rob (a very tall white guy) the flier for this party. So we laughed a whole lot and then decide to go back to Columbia to attend a normal phrat party at a disgusting phrat house. When we got there it was dark, smelly, hot and crowded. We danced and had fun for a little while, but then left to run through the sprinkalers in the big Columbia lawn because for once the lawn was open for students. Then we played hide and seek.
Well, I should probably read ahead some more in Psych so that i have plenty of time to read my sociology book when it comes in. Write me a letter!
