Well, I am home. It is nice to home.
I saw the dance production at Barnard, and it was good. There was even a tap piece that was good. There was a live jazz band on stage for that one. There was also a really beautiful ballet piece that was choreographed by Jerome Robins (sorry if I misspell the names). My favorite of all was the last number. It was a Limon piece. So very beautiful.
Sunday we saw Doubt. That is a very good play and highly recommend it.
Monday: wonderful (at least during the day). Monday was a day at Barnard for admitted students so I got to hear from different administrators, professors, and students. Also got to take a class. It was wonderful. I took a first-year seminar class on American literature. The class can be no larger than 16 students. You just sit around a round table and discuss. Did I participate in the discussion? Yes I did.
Tuesday we started the drive home but stopped in Delaware to stay with some family friends of the Dalton's. It was very nice.
I feel as though I can not wait for college to start. I am going to have a blast.
But first I must finish my senior year...
Ok, well, off to read the class catalogue before I go to bed. I am a dork.
One more thing... If I get a 4 or 5 on my Stat AP exam, NO MORE MATH FOR ME! EVER!
