go-go's really do rock
wow, i went to see the go-go's tonight with matt and crazy mary. i have to admit it was one of the greatest shows i've seen in a long time. i'm not the BIGGEST fan of there music, but i have always had a soft spot for them. we were really close to the front of the stage and i stood right in front of jane wiendln (the sweet one with the cute voice) who's my favorite. not to say i don't like them all, and i think she was looking right at me at one point and i saw her squint her eyes and smile. i hope she was looking at me anyway. they played a terrific show, and i can't believe how young they all look, and to think they're not that much younger than my MOTHER! anyway, matt asked me if i wanted to go again next thursday and i definitely am looking forward to it. belinda is so funny, she made a reference about her recent playboy spread and said "what's next a tampon commercial, or maybe summer's eve?" it was a really cool show. thanks matt! anyway, it's like 2:00 and i'm getting sleepy, so i think i might retire for the evening, oh well, good night!
