I built an astrolabe this summer. I could bring it to class. It's just a mariner's astrolabe, though.

No, I built the pendulum out in the barn; it's the first one--I want to make a bigger one but I started out small.

I'll bring the astrolabe; I got some informationhere. Mine is like the one in the middle, only out of thin wood and plastic. There's a torquetum at that site I might try sometime.
