After I filled the cart with unnecessary items, we slowly went to the check out line and waited. Those lines are tricky, though. I searched the magazines that only lie and I scavenged though the candy that wouldn't quench my desires. I indulged myself anyway. Snatching up the last Peanut Butter M&M's. Then I thought carefully, looking at her, then at the candy. Finally, I decided she looked like a Pay Day person. I paid and was on my way.
In no time at all, we were on the road and listening to good music. Which is very important because I let her choose the tunes. We traveled a for a short while, until I found nice patch of grass. I parked and scurried around to find the things I needed.
Meanwhile, she followed and talked and watched. She was very observant and yet she still talked and I responded and listened. It was absolutely marvelous.
Things were ready I laid down a blanket and various edibles. Then I saw in her face the creases of a smile and she was excited, I could see it in her eyes as she looked at my creation. We sat and I began to show her my selections and why I chose them. It was as if she liked every food and everything was perfect. She was a Pay Day person, too.
I knew then how I was going to live my life.
