Both Westin and Sam are so used to keeping their faces locked down, never letting surprise show, never letting through emotions that might give them away while on the job, that even when it's just the two of them sitting there, the fact that they are working on a "job" puts them both into spy-mode without thinking about it.

I also liked that Michael himself pointed out that the stuff Sam found in Victor's file could all be a pack of lies put there by the folks who burned Victor. Michael also pointed out that Victor had already spent five years chafing under Carla's control. That gave me hope that Victor is really not a bad guy, but he's what Michael would have been if he hadn't had Sam, Fi and Maddy to support him and had instead spent 5 years forced to submit to someone else's will.

And yet he didn't go and try to kill Michael, which I ask myself WHY? He's got plenty of opportunity AND plenty of reason.

That's one of the big reasons for me thinking that Victor DIDN'T kill the others. When Michael and Victor first met, Michael was an enigma. Maybe Victor tested him with the psycho-lets'-kill-all-the-guards approach to see if Michael was willing to go that far.

I'm going to guess that maybe Michael does something to make it look like Victor is killed and thereby escapes from Carla and her people.

OH! That's got my vote! Think it's too late to write the producer?? :D :D

He is the one responsible for taking out the sniper guy who was going to shoot at someone on that boat using the special rifle-- but he also probably was responsible for killing a few other people involved in that operation

I'm still of a mind that Victor, despite what he said in the bathroom, may not have done it. It's like when there is a bombing and multiple terrorist groups all come out of the woodwork claiming to have done it. Right now, Westin is kind of an unknown quantity to Victor. Victor might have claimed the kills to look more tough, more powerful than he really is. He could be bluffing the same way a cat bluffs when it puffs itself up to look bigger and badder.
