I have about two seconds for posting then I'm offline for a few hours, but I just had to get this out.
Tonight is the penultimate episode of Burn Notice Season 2. Titled "Sins of Omission", Michael Shanks' character, Victor appears again, "sprinkled all over the B story line". The show airs at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time on the USA Network. If you happen to miss the show tonight, within hours of airing it should be available both at the official website on USA and on Hulu.com.
Conjecture and spoilers:
Last week's B-story was about Michael Westen's efforts to find the person who had tried to kill him and who had succeeded in killing at least one other of Carla's operatives. The clues lead Michael to a storage place where he runs into Victor who is hiding up on the roof with a rifle. When Michael spots him, Victor runs across the rooftops to his car, taunts Michael and leaves. The implication is that Victor is the one behind the attacks.
BUT
My thought is that Victor was there for the same reason that Michael was. Someone tried and failed to kill Victor, Victor is looking for the culprit, and the clues led him back to the storage place. Victor was lying in wait for the killer to show, just like Michael and Fi came hoping the killer would show. I think that Michael and Victor end up joining forces to find the person responsible.
Of course, I could be completely wrong, but that's what I'm thinking will happen.
Remember, after this there is only one episode left this season and Michael Shanks will be all over that episode. Yay! Burn Notice has been pickedup for a third season (though I hope it does not have a Gigantic Hiatus the way season 2 did) and although I know it is not likely, I do hope Victor comes back for at least an episode or two.
